Lightning Twice founder Jordan Allen-Dutton is a three-time Emmy-nominated writer, Obie Award winner, and Drama Desk Award recipient whose critically acclaimed work has earned recognition across theater, film, and television. His theatrical productions have been featured in London’s West End and published by Samuel French, including The Bomb-itty of Errors and NERDS. NERDS played the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Other Palace.

Allen-Dutton’s television work includes 5 seasons on Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, the political thriller Disruptor for Apple (produced by Greg Berlanti and Shepard Fairey), and a crime series, Silent Witness, exploring neuroscience and trauma for Sony. In film, he has sold several screenplays, including .44, about Jimmy Breslin’s dangerous obsession with the Son of Sam case, the Richard Simmons biopic for Warner Bros., and You Got To Be Free, a prison break movie on LSD that tells the true story of Timothy Leary’s escape from California Men’s Colony and run to Algeria in 1971. He recently sold the action thriller Override to Amazon.

In addition, Jordan founded a software company whose application Talking Panda iLingo was one of the first twenty-five applications on the original iPhone.
